This August, global electric car giant BYD entered Pakistan’s EV market, marking a significant milestone for the local auto industry. BYD introduced three models—Seal, Atto 3, and Sealion—confirming plans for their sale in Pakistan. Recently, BYD officially launched the Seal and Atto 3 models in Pakistan, along with their pricing details for two BYD Seal variants.

BYD Seal and Features

The BYD Seal, a D-segment sedan, competes with models like the Tesla Model 3 and features the brand’s ‘Ocean Aesthetics’ design concept. Its sleek body design enhances aerodynamics and performance, with distinctive double U-shaped headlights and an X-shaped front that adds to its sporty appeal.

Key Specifications

The Seal includes design elements like “scales” near the C-pillar and “gills” behind the front wheels, creating a marine-inspired look. The interior boasts leather with Alcantara finishes, diamond stitching, and features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a Swarovski-style crystal gear lever.

Additional perks include heated/ventilated front seats and a panoramic roof. With a remarkable range of up to 570 km, it runs on BYD’s 82.5 kWh Blade Battery, allowing rapid charging from 10% to 80% in about 37 minutes. It also has an outlet to power household appliances.

BYD Atto 3 and Features

The Atto 3 is a fully electric C-segment SUV, set to compete with models like the Hyundai Tucson, KIA Sportage, and Changan Oshan X7. Its design is distinct, with unique front grilles, bumpers, and a stylish rear profile.

Key Specifications

On the exterior, the Atto 3 has bi-projector LED headlights and DRLs, a fin-style grille for better aerodynamics, and a 360-degree camera for added convenience. The rear features marine-styled elements on the rear quarter glass, Atto 3 badging, parking sensors, and dot matrix taillights.

Inside, the Atto 3 offers a stylish mix of black and light blue with red stitching, front bucket seats, a spacious cabin, and a cockpit-inspired design with modern features like a rotating screen, wireless charger, and a panoramic sunroof. It includes safety features like Blind Spot Monitoring, 6 airbags, parking sensors, collision warning, and more, ensuring a secure ride.
