Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan, Rebound with Rs2,000 Increase

The price of gold in Pakistan experienced a significant rebound on Friday, recovering from a steep decline the previous day and mirroring global market trends.

According to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs2,000, reaching Rs278,800. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold went up by Rs1,715, now priced at Rs239,026.

In the international market, gold prices also saw an upward shift, increasing by $21 to reach $2,683 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained steady at Rs3,300 per tola, showing no fluctuations in the local market.
