Shehbaz Sharif to Represent Pakistan at Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for a two-day official trip to Saudi Arabia to participate in the 8th Future Investment Initiative, set to commence in Riyadh on Tuesday.

Nations from around the world, including Pakistan, are attending the three-day conference.

The conference theme, “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow,” emphasizes a forward-looking approach to global investment.

The Future Investment Initiative acts as a significant platform for countries to highlight their economic potential, attract foreign investment, and engage in discussions to build a sustainable future.

The conference will host discussions on various global issues, including artificial intelligence, robotics, education, energy, space, public health, and sustainable development.

The Prime Minister is scheduled for key bilateral meetings with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and other senior Saudi officials. He will also engage with international leaders on the sidelines of the conference.

These discussions aim to strengthen bilateral ties, especially in the areas of trade, energy, minerals, agriculture, and defense between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Privatization Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, Petroleum Minister Dr. Musadik Malik, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan, and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar are accompanying the Prime Minister.
